Birdwatching is unequivocally one of the richest activities that one can enjoy in the beautiful Algarve landscapes. The diversity of nature that can be observed in the region makes it possible to explore the natural sanctuaries with diverse ecosystems, which are fundamental for the practice of birdwatching, both those who live here and those who migrate here: more than 300 Bird species pass through the Algarve throughout the year and more than 50 of those species are rare.
